i found that the staff welcomed me warmly on arrival. neil, the porter, helped me with my luggage and i walked the grounds. i took advantage of the spa, it has a 20-meter pool and a super hot jacuzzi.

some areas of the hotel seemed worn. i noticed a few dirty carpet tiles on the stairs.

the truffles i ordered with my eggs at breakfast really didn't taste like anything. the staff insisted the chef had a michelin star so it must be my fault. also, i found a spider crawling on my arm one night and it was nasty.

The staff welcomed us in a friendly manner and were very helpful. We settled into our Manor Room. It was larger than we expected, like we were upgraded, a nice surprise. The four-poster bed was VERY comfortable. We also found some free complimentary gifts we very much enjoyed.

The room service menu could have included more options. It was pretty basic for such a nice hotel.

The staff was polite and very helpful on arrival. One member of staff gave us advice about where to park. They told us about a place to visit. The staff assisted us with our luggage upon leaving.

I found some issues. The room service menu was too basic. There were few options. Getting a beef burger through room service was oddly impossible, yet a chicken burger was fine. I found this quite strange and LIMITING.

the welcome was very awesome. the concierge team seemed keen to assist with luggage and parking. daniel was friendly and knowledgable throughout our visit. our country bedroom was wonderful with beautiful touches, very comfortable beds and gorgeous toiletries.

i found the room decor a bit dated. the room service menu had limited options. some serving staff seemed rushed and uninterested. i expected higher standards for a hotel of this price.
